Bettina Kee is an Italo-French composer, multi-instrumentalist, and arranger.

With over two decades of experience spanning feature films, documentaries, short films, theater, and music production, she has collaborated with directors such as Benoît Forgeard, Sophie Letourneur, and Pascal Bonitzer.

Early in her career, she worked as assistant to Michael Galasso, notably on the film Séraphine, which received the César Award for Best Original Score.

Her artistic universe blends orchestration with analog and modular synthesizers, piano, wind instruments, and vocals. She has received several distinctions, including the 2025 CNM Film Music Composition Grant or the Musique en Courts competition in 2004.

Beyond cinema, she has an extensive discography as the artist Ornette and has collaborated with artists such as Alain Bashung, Joris Delacroix or Nôze. Since 2021, she is actively engaged in promoting equality and diversity in the music industry through her role at SACEM (Vice-President of The Gender and Diversity Commission) and her involvement with the collective Troisième Autrice, advocating for women composers in film.
